The name of her can also be stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from the music blogosphere and the media. She has recorded several high-profile song covers, including Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and have been widely praised. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway from her side, offered the song a boost of recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano at her loft, where she was amazed by its sound. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music. It was not for an income or to pursue a hobby, but rather in order to grow. She began writing her own songs. As well as Bjork She also cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mom suggested they could help people to not become famous through her music, but rather to help the people around them understand the significance of what they do and how they impact the world. When she was six she began to learn the piano and at nine, started writing songs. Her family didn't hear about her musical journey until she was 14. There was no way she could have imagined to be Aurora. She says she just likes to compose songs. Music is for her the most effective way to experience everything.
